…play hooky from this blog while I make the rounds and leave comments at your blogs. I’ve been such a busy little bee lately that I haven’t had much time to see what my friends are talking about.
I’ll be here tomorrow with my usual mixture of links and announcements and whatever.

And for my U.S. friends, if you haven’t already turned in your ballot in early voting, I hope you’ll visit the polls today. We are the people, and this is our day to be heard.

And after today, no more campaign ads and phone calls for at least a year. Yay!

  1. Funny, but for a woman who played hookey from your blog, you still made a presence. And that’s a good thing!

    I’ve found myself removing a fair number of blogs from the list of those I follow because the bloggers don’t post regularly. I hate checking in once a week and finding that the blog hadn’t had a new post for 2, 3, or 10 weeks.

    Kudos to you (and everyone else) for providing me with regular reading and thinking material.

  8. I’m going to follow your election results tonight and I’m also grateful that the election ads are stopping – we get quite a few of them up here since we get so many US channels!
