Susan, it has definitely happened on days other than Monday. Blogger brain freeze can strike at any time. Apparently Elspeth has it too.

Chocolate! Why didn’t I think of that? Since I moved my stash from my office to the kitchen (downstairs), I don’t eat as much. I might be suffering from chocolate deprivation.

Alex, you’re too funny. I haven’t had a Slurpee in years. Maybe I’ve been chugging my iced tea too fast.

I think the kids up here in Northern Colorado are back in school already…even though this week it will be in the 90s. I know the college kids have moved in at both CSU and CU.

I absolutely know the feeling. And Jenny? Where do you live that school is back before summer is finished? …that’s mean. Unless of course you live in the land down-under.

Pat – Sometimes the brain needs a break. Enjoy the rest and I’ll look forward to your CIR post tomorrow.

Happy Monday, Pat! The schools are back in session here today, so I’m sure you’re not the only one with brain freeze ๐Ÿ™‚

Meet Patricia

I read, I write, I blog, and sometimes I do the laundry and cook. My 2014 novel, Dead Wrong, was a finalist in the thriller category of the 2015 Colorado Book Awards. Wishing Caswell Dead (Five Star/Cengage, December 20, 2017) is a historical mystery set in 1830s Illinois in the fictitious Village of Sangamon. The novel was a finalist for the 2018 Colorado Book Awards for General Fiction. Read Moreโ€ฆ
