I wish I could write humor as easily as I write about crime. Erma Bombeck comes to mind.

Who’s your favorite humor writer?
Evan Williamson says
I’ve always been a fan of humor writers. Dave Barry’s among the best but I have to give it to the late great Lewis Grizzard as my favorite modern humorist with Mark Twain leading the pack for the all time title.

Jemi Fraser says
I adore Erma Bombeck and Dave Barry! I can’t pull off that kind of humour, but I love it! 🙂
Margot Kinberg says
Pat – Oh, I’ve loved Dave Barry’s work for a long time! He’s wonderful. I wish I could write humour as well, but I don’t have that chromosome. In my case anyway, I would rather not write humour than have it be forced.
Murees Dupé says
Janet Evanovich is great. Though, I can never seem to inject humour into my novels. Which makes me think that maybe I am just not that funny. It is rather an art form, I guess.
