I wish I had a better view from my office window.
For that matter, I wish we had a better view from any room in the house. We live less than two miles from the first hills leading to the bigger hills of the Front Range of Colorado, but to see the mountains we have to drive to the east side of town and then look back toward the west.
Too bad we didn’t figure that out when we were house shopping. A view of the mountains would have been nice, especially if seen from my office window.

My writing place at home is in the kitchen. I set my laptop on the dining table; the reason: I have a nice view as I face a large window and a glass door.

We don’t have great views from the house either – that would be a plus!

Sometimes, you just have to go with the house no matter where it’s located. We lucked out with a nice view of the mountains to the north – on a sunny day. But it does require a strong imagination on a day like today when it’s raining.

Good views are great! Any kind of view is better than what I have at work… no windows at all in the room!

Up until a couple of years ago we had a great view of a farm from our back porch. The farm had cows, a barn, and a wagon from which the farmer sold vegetables. Not long after we moved in, progress took over. The farmer sold his property for millions of dollars. Can’t say I blame him, but now the view is of subdivision homes much like our own.

I think there should be a law that you have to live in a place for a month before buying it. Our view is past the pool to the next block of apartments, yet a minute’s walk to the street and we have the sea to the south and mountains to the north. at least you have an office – i have the corner of a bedroom!

Pat – Oh, I love a good view, too! And I can imagine there’s a lot of gorgeous viewing where you live. For my part it’s probably good for my productivity that my office area doesn’t have a window…
