This is a day to count our blessings, and I have a whole bunch of them.
I’m thankful for my 93-year-old mom who just went through a small stroke and then twisted her hip, but is still working hard to get better and weathering all her trials and miseries with an amazing sense of humor.
I’m thankful for my wonderful husband and all the rest of my family. I love them with all my heart.
I’m thankful for Katie Kitty who almost did not survive her first year but is now our healthy, spoiled, and much loved 9 pound buddy.
I’m thankful for dear friends, the face-to-face ones I’ve had for years as well as the online friends I’ve made through blogging and social media.
And I’m thankful to be living in interesting times.
I hope your blessings are many and that your Thanksgiving Day is full of joy.

And thanks to all of you for stopping by today…I’m also very thankful for really good Thanksgiving dinner traditions…and for wonderful Tums for my tummy — I ate a bit too much.
