I’m offline again this weekend, this time to visit my mom in another state. Meantime, please enjoy this little photo essay about my weekend retreat with the Northern Colorado Writers.
My window looked out over the river, so I had the sound of rushing water as white noise during the day and to soothe me to sleep at night. This is where I did all of my writing, unless…
I was eating or socializing and sampling from one of these
Or attending a round-up meeting
Or enjoying the fresh crisp air outside
Or just taking pictures for fun.
Regardless of how often I played or ate instead of writing, I still got a lot done and came away motivated and re-energized. Once again, the retreat was a great success.

It was great to share my first retreat with you at SDR…and all the other great writers who were there, too.
Looking forward to next year. I know you’ll be there!
(Sorry I didn’t leave you more wine.)

I really must must MUST do one of these writers’ retreats someday…even if I do it on my own!

Pat – It really looks as though you had a great time! And in a beautiful spot, too. I hope your visit with your mother went well.

Looks like a wonderful place! So nice to have a get-away like that.

I am officially green with envy!

Oh, I long for this kind of retreat. Hoping that I’ll get more plugged in to what’s available in Colorado. Being on the western slope, in a small town, I feel so isolated! Thanks for sharing your experience.

If I’d indulged in the second photo’s items, I wouldn’t have written much.
