Sometimes you need to take a break.
I’m doing that this week so I can visit with family in Illinois and get a little shopping done for my mom (she has requested a large supply of cinnamon rolls and frozen blueberries for her freezer in addition to whatever else she’s putting on her list).
I’m not toting any devices that connect with the Internet, will carry a real book to read on the plane, and will not think even one time about how long my ToDo List is.
Nor will I think about the limited time I have between the day I get home and the day I take off again for the Colorado Gold Conference in Denver.
To complicate the situation, our clothes dryer just died.
And the grapes are ripening fast and may have to be harvested between the two trips.
See you Monday.

I remember blueberries from my one trip to Canada – my English son begged me to send him blackcurrant sweets because everything over there was blueberry flavoured!

Find your inner zen and let all the mental and emotional clutter take a hike for a few days. Hope you have a great time with your mom.

Pat – Oh, I’m sorry to hear about the dryer! How frustrating. I do hope you enjoy your ‘unplugged’ time and your visit with your family.
