Drumroll please…..

February 17, 2014 By: Patricia

I am pleased to announce I have signed a contract with Five Star/Cengage for my first standalone suspense novel, Dead Wrong. The book is scheduled for a November 2014 release.

I’ll tell you lots more later….

Meanwhile, I’m up to my ears in multiple projects, so please forgive me if I’m AWOL most of this week…..again. I’ll have two great guests next week and two more the week after to make up for my absence.

While I’m playing workaholic, please visit the wonderful posts over at the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers blog. We kick off this week with a post from the new RMFW president, Pam Nowak, and on Tuesday a guest appearance by Beth Groundwater who discusses engineering a mystery.

Congrats, Pat! Looking forward to November. It’s time to take that turkey off the center piece and get your book there instead. I can hear it now: “No honey, the turkey’s not done. I’m still reading “Dead Wrong.” By the way, can you get me some more wine?”

Meet Patricia

I read, I write, I blog, and sometimes I do the laundry and cook. My 2014 novel, Dead Wrong, was a finalist in the thriller category of the 2015 Colorado Book Awards. Wishing Caswell Dead (Five Star/Cengage, December 20, 2017) is a historical mystery set in 1830s Illinois in the fictitious Village of Sangamon. The novel was a finalist for the 2018 Colorado Book Awards for General Fiction. My most recent release, In Defense of Delia (Five Star/Cengage, November 2022), is available in hardcover and will soon be available in ebook and trade paperback. Read More…
