Friday and Saturday I’m attending the Northern Colorado Writers Conference in Fort Collins, CO. Chuck Sambuchino of Writer’s Market and Guide to Literary Agents Blog fame will be one of our keynote speakers. That’s reason enough to attend right there.
Next week the A to Z blog challenge begins. I’ll be posting every day except Sunday (yes, every single day, but they will be short) and spending a ton of time visiting the other challenge participants. As of the moment I wrote this post, 1,717 bloggers were signed up.
It’s acting like spring outside, so it’s time to get my garden beds composted and my spring veggies started. Last year I planted seeds for leaf lettuce, spinach, and peas at the end of March and they survived two wet, spring snows and matured way earlier than I thought possible.
I’m working on a new manuscript, trying to decide whether to totally rewrite an old one, and waiting to see the cover art for Dead Wrong which is scheduled for release from Five Star/Cengage in November 2014.
And next week I visit the surgeon to have my troublesome knee X-rayed and discuss my options. I’m pretty sure I know what she’s going to say.

Good luck with the knee! I worry about every little twinge these days, wondering “Will I need to have this replaced?” The blog conference sounds awesome. Have fun with that & look forward to your daily posts. I will look for crocuses in Central Park, since I live in NYC and don’t have a garden of my own.

Elizabeth. Signs of spring: buying seeds. I ordered mine from Burpee this year.
Hi Diane. My crocuses got snowed on, and my hyacinths never had a chance to open all their blooms this year. It has been a crazy winter.
My mini daffodils are starting to bloom, although I think our freeze this week confused them.

No challenge for me– too much every day for me– both in reading and writing. But I know it’s fun for folks.
