I didn’t come up with a big plan for a blog book tour for Dead Wrong. Instead, I grabbed hold of random opportunities that began before the book’s release and will continue on for a bit longer.
Here’s a list of links for where I will be and where I’ve been, including reviews.
December 19th — Buried Under Books blog
December 13th — Book signing and party at The Eclectic Reader bookstore in Fort Collins, CO — (my photos are here)
December 12th — Author Expressions blog — Interview by Jacqueline Seewald
December 8th — The Blood-Red Pencil published the links to my 10-post series Self-Editing One Step at a Time.
December 5th — Mark Stevens’ Don’t Need a Diagram blog — “Q &A with Pat Stoltey — Dead Wrong“
December 1st (all week) — ITW Roundtable Discussion — “Is fear the most common emotion in a thriller?“
December 1st — Article in The Big Thrill
November 19th — Review at Rabbit Hole Reviews
November 20th — Mark S. Bacon’s Blog, Death in Nostalgia City — “My love affair with Fat Ass Sammy Grick“

Blog tours are great. Sure saves on wear and tear, though the downside is, no frequent flier miles. Looks like you have good one planned out.Congrats on Pub Day!

Hi Patricia,
I like it that you didn’t plan a blog tour for your book. Randomness sounds much more interesting.
All the very best with the networking and your book, my kind friend.

Hi Hilary — not to mention time to take the cat to the vet for her shots. We have to do that this morning, and it’s not going to be a fun experience. She hates the car and yowls every second of the ride. And she’s afraid of strangers, so the vet experience is not pleasant either. I’ll be glad when that little break in the routine is over. 😀

Hi Patricia .. Ha – after looking I see what ITW means – International Thriller Writers … well good for you. It sounds an idea site and generous with their support and ideas for all thriller writers to be involved with.
I will make time to read “Dead Wrong” …
Good luck – sounds like you’re utilising your contacts sensibly and getting the most of visits, as well as giving yourself time to breathe ..
Cheers Hilary

Hi Donna — Thanks for stopping by as you catch up on your rounds. Sounds like you’re pretty busy, too.

Hi Pat,
Congratulations on your book and blog tour. I haven’t blogged or visited blogs over several weeks, so I’m happy to catch up and find out your good news.

Thanks, Margot. It’s a crazy time for my schedule, but I’m having fun with it.

Pat – I am absolutely delighted for you! I’m so glad you’re ‘making the rounds,’ and I wish you all success.

Hi Alex! That was my first exposure to the ITW Roundtable. After my own participation ends, I plan to be a regular visitor to check out the current topic and authors. Interesting and fun!

And quite the discussion on fear as the primary emotion.

I think spreading it out is a good idea. I’m doing one week for my release next April and then a few days here and there for the next two months.
