All you unpublished novelists…Get Ready, Set, Submit!
The Colorado Gold Contest is about to open, and it’s a wonderful opportunity to get your work in front of impartial judges who will give you a lot of good feedback. And who knows, you might just make the finals.

I served as one of the judges for five entries last year and found the quality of submissions good and the story ideas very creative. For beginning writers, it’s a good way to get valuable suggestions for improvement from the judges, most of whom are published authors. One must enter with an open mind and a willingness to learn–there will be a lot of feedback to absorb.
