Today I have my sad story about my computer crash posted at the Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers blog. Hopefully you’ll find “What Will You Lose if Your Computer Crashes Five Minutes from Now?” an incentive to immediately go run a backup of your important files and photos.
At Anne R. Allen’s Blog, a place I visit regularly, the Sunday post was “11 Tips For The Care And Feeding Of Your Muse: A Writer’s Guide” by Ruth Harris. I especially liked 11) Do learn to trust your muse—even when you don’t know exactly why. Intuition, gut feelings, whatever you want to call it, just don’t ignore it.
Now I have to get back to the new computer, getting stuff set up, going through flash drives to find important files (like my works in process–I know they’re here somewhere!).

I know what it'[s like to have to start all over with a computer, Pat. Wishing you a good relationship with your new addition. And thanks for the word about those posts.

Good luck with the new computer!
I’m getting better at trusting my gut. I hope! 🙂

Ruth’s post was great!
