Wow! It’s Friday already.
Everything is fine! I got home from the hospital on Wednesday and had my first physical therapy appointment this morning. I’m following those PT orders, doing my exercise sets a lot, and really looking forward to a very speedy recovery.
And I’m taking naps! They don’t offer “rest and relaxation” as one of the hospital options. Other than that, however, I have nothing but glowing reports about the facility, the doctors and nurses, all the medical assistants and support personnel, and………the food. The hospital food was excellent!!! Being sick or injured is never a pleasure, but if you can do it in Northern Colorado (or be anywhere in the University of Colorado Health Region), you’ll get the very best of care.
I have stacks of books on my coffee table to read during my down time. Right now I’m reading Justice at Redwillow by John D. Nesbitt (a western from Five Star Publishing).
Mostly, though, my life is all about exercises and physical therapy. Gotta get back to it.

I wish you a speedy recovery. Not the best one I can think of but it is at least one excuse to read a lot.

Glad everything went well! Keep working those exercises but rest, too. And read. Lots of reading. 🙂

Welcome home. Rest and relaxation in a a hospital? Never. No one rests there.

Good to hear you’re home, and that your surgery went well, Pat! And I am very happy to hear you’re taking naps. They are real restoratives, especially after surgery. Wishing you a very speedy healing.

Glad you’re home! The food was good? Wish all hospitals offered good food.
