April Moore’s Giveaway of Folsom 93 on Goodreads

July 31, 2016 By: Patricia

If you like crime nonfiction, you’ll be fascinated by April Moore’s book Folsom’s 93: The Lives and Crimes of Folsom’s Executed Men. Ninety-three convicted murderers were condemned to death by hanging in California before the law was changed. With a wealth of information at her fingertips from documents found in her aunt’s attic, Moore added on-site research and newspaper archive articles to round out as much of the history of these men and their families as possible. The book was released by a California publisher of historical nonfiction about the state.

The book is readable nonfiction with historical significance, well organized and hard to set aside once you begin. In a few cases, you’ll even wonder if an innocent man was sent to the gallows. Highly recommended!

Moore’s Goodreads giveaway for U.S. residents starts today and ends on August 7, 2016. Sign in to Goodreads and click here to learn more about Folsom’s 93 and enter the giveaway.

Here’s a little more from my own point of view. …Read More
