Wednesday Bits and Pieces

September 29, 2010 By: Patricia

Thursday’s Guest

I hope you’ll stop by tomorrow to meet Vivian Zabel, author of Stolen.

Elspeth’s Back

But drop by her Sept. 28th blog post to see where she went for a writing retreat (and read the ten things she learned there).

And That’s All for Today!

I know. This is kind of short. But I’m finishing up a bunch of stuff and will be getting back to my normal schedule after today. So much to do, so little time….

Sorry for being absent today, but my guy and I were driving all day yesterday and today to get back from Illinois to Northern Colorado. Right now I still feel as though I’m in a moving car…

Sometimes that’s all that needs to be said!
Wish you were my boss. Meetings would be easier to endure.

Wow! Thanks, Pat! I don’t think I’ve ever been the subject of a headline before. I feel rather important.

Thanks for the recommendation on “Midnight Hours,” Margot. I sure wish I could add a couple hours of reading time to each day (but not give up any sleep). 🙂 There are so many wonderful writers…

Patricia – Thanks for the update! I am looking forward to Vivian’s post: I enjoyed her Midnight Hours quite a lot, and I’m sure Stolen is terrific, too.

    Short but sweet,

Meet Patricia

I read, I write, I blog, and sometimes I do the laundry and cook. My 2014 novel, Dead Wrong, was a finalist in the thriller category of the 2015 Colorado Book Awards. Wishing Caswell Dead (Five Star/Cengage, December 20, 2017) is a historical mystery set in 1830s Illinois in the fictitious Village of Sangamon. The novel was a finalist for the 2018 Colorado Book Awards for General Fiction. My most recent release, In Defense of Delia (Five Star/Cengage, November 2022), is available in hardcover and will soon be available in ebook and trade paperback. Read More…
