Tomorrow’s Guest
I’m very excited to have mystery author Michael Allan Mallory as my guest blogger tomorrow. Michael and his partner in crime, Marilyn Victor, have created an excellent series character in zookeeper Lavender (Snake) Jones. Their books are Death Roll and the newly released, Killer Instinct.
And Another Guest for Monday
I’ll be introducing one of our fine Colorado authors, Mary Ann Seymour, who wrote Around the Square and Butterfly Messages.
What I’m Reading
I just finished Harlan Coben’s Hold Tight. Now I’m reading Can’t Wait to Get to Heaven by Fannie Flagg.
Katrina Update
It only took 38 shots for me to get this one good photo of Katie in action during evening playtime. Thank goodness for digital cameras.
Is it any wonder I’m not getting much writing done? When all other forms of procrastination fail, adopt a kitten.
Hi Patricia .. must get back to reading properly again .. so look forward to more reviews. Katie seems to know she should be in mid-shot .. fun .. kittens sure know how to place and entice themselves into our hearts! Enjoy her .. Hilary
Such a great shot of Katie. She looks like she would keep you entertained.

Thoughts in Progress
It was well worth the effort – that’s a great photo!!
I started reading Prairie Grass Murders last night and I’m loving it!! I won’t have much reading time for the next few days – but I can’t wait to get back to it! π
I like that last line of advice!
Great post. What a cute kitty.
Adorable. As a fellow procrastinator, this is one form of procrastination I never thought of.
Oh, Katie is fabulous! And I love that quote. A Zookeeper sounds like a GREAT MC–I really like that as a premise. I will have to check that out. I like cozies (and near cozies) a lot, but I’m really not crafty, so these alternative themes really appeal to me (I like Barbara Block’s pet store owner, too)
Soooo cuuute!!!!
(I have a cat on my lap who is using her feline mind control to prevent me from moving)
That’s a great picture! π
Hey, cats are much more interesting than watching TV.
Seems like a good time is to be expected.
Yvonne.
Digital cameras are the best! I always used to take two shots of everything while on vacation just to make sure one came out. Expensive developing all that!
Katie the Kutie!
How cute! Harlan Coben and Fannie Flagg are two of my favorites.

Such a cute kitty!
I want to read the Flagg book…got it on my TBR list now. π
Patricia – What a wonderful ‘photo! I just love it! What a great shot. I’m looking forward to your guests, and to what you thought of the Harlan Coben novel.
