Still Me … After All These Years: 24 Writers Reflect on Aging

February 24, 2017 By: Patricia

I’ve very excited to announce the publication of an anthology featuring essays on aging from 24 writers. Karen Helene Walker, author and blogger, came up with the idea, ran with it, and accomplished the task in a surprisingly short amount of time. Very impressive, Karen!

My essay about my mom is included in Still Me…After All These Years, so I’m extra pleased about that. The cover art has not passed its final proof approval, but here’s what it looks like at the moment.

The e-b00k version (official release date is April 4, 2017) is available now for pre-order. The print version will be coming soon (don’t worry, I’ll keep you posted).

Thanks, Madeline. It’s fun to participate in a project like this. I’m meeting lots of new writers (the other contributors) and learning more about others’ reactions to aging as well.

Thanks, Mason. It should be a great anthology for those of us who are “of a certain age” as well as those who are getting there faster than they might like.

I can only take credit for my one little essay, Dean — Karen Walker has done an amazing job calling for entries and following the project all the way through to publication in a very short amount of time. I think she’s a superstar!!!

I’m looking forward to reading the other essays in this anthology, Margot. I’m hoping for some inspiration in how to survive seniorhood. 😀
