Journalistic Integrity

May 5, 2015 By: Patricia

There is so much bad stuff going on in this world that I have a very hard time dealing with all of the stories. One day I worry that I should be more afraid than I am. I’m concerned I’m growing more cynical every day. Other days I fear I’m becoming immune to the horror. …Read More

Friday!

May 1, 2015 By: Patricia

Off with the cast Today is the day my pretty pink cast is taken away and I get to see if I can handle crutches. And a walking boot. Another new adventure. Wish me luck on that. I suspect I’ll have some leg and ankle strengthening to do before I’m walking normally. I’ll be bidding …Read More

I’m Already Looking Forward to Friday

April 28, 2015 By: Patricia

The Rest of the Story About Five Posts per Week

April 24, 2015 By: Patricia

I’ve done some more reading around the web and have come to the conclusion that any post, any length, any content is better than no post…and it may be just as effective as five 1,000 word posts with amazing content. I’m good with that. Coming up with awesome content in a world full of bloggers writing great posts is hard. If …Read More

I’m Using My Time Well…Sort Of

April 19, 2015 By: Patricia

Thought I’d poke my head out for a minute to see how things are going. Looks like the A to Z April Challenge is going well. I try to keep tabs on a a couple of regulars like Alex J. Cavanaugh and April J. Moore and then wander through the rest of the list, picking …Read More

Ta Da! Here’s Patricia Stoltey’s shiny new website/blog

April 15, 2015 By: Patricia

I am as happy as any housebound writer in a pink foot cast could be. With tons of time on my hands this month, getting my information into this new site set up by my friend Carolyn Yalin, owner of Upperdale Designs, has been no problem…except for figuring out a couple of the special pages …Read More

Meet Patricia

I read, I write, I blog, and sometimes I do the laundry and cook. My 2014 novel, Dead Wrong, was a finalist in the thriller category of the 2015 Colorado Book Awards. Wishing Caswell Dead (Five Star/Cengage, December 20, 2017) is a historical mystery set in 1830s Illinois in the fictitious Village of Sangamon. The novel was a finalist for the 2018 Colorado Book Awards for General Fiction. Read More…
